I once put a dang texturizer in my hair because I did not understand why my hair was the way it was. It was not soft or nothing it and it made me angry I am glad I am glad I found your video!!!!! napturalserenity: LOVED IT!!..great video...and girl, it was difficult for me to find 4c's when I first went natural so now there are others have found since I started making videos......my opinion, the femininity comes from the makeup and earrings...the hair may not be so feminine but I will throw on earrings and gloss and ROCK OUT!!...lol...(love what you said at 2:25 -2:37)

Thetogette: 4 C is about having smaller coils then 4b . The smallest of 4B is a pen spring size coil. IT is not about having an obvious curl definition or not but about the size of you coils. I do not know if it is the video but your coils do not look that small. You look 4B . Put some cold water on a shed hair and measure the diameter of your coils to be sure

HairFreedom: I am a 4C and I used to blow out my hair for lenght. But, I have found that my 4C hair does not respond well to heat. Type 4C hair needs lots of moisture. I apply shea butter or castor oil to my scalp daily. The main thing about 4C hair is to braid it at night and not go to bed with it loose. It helps prevent most of the shrinkage and will enlongates the hair when you style it the next day. Thank you for sharing your journey.

LALanguage: @HairFreedom Thank u for ur comment, I def need that extra push to NOT blow dry my hair. i did last night and it was back at full shrinkage with in a few hrs, Pointless. and great tip about braiding the hair for bed
