Purse Theft at a local Hyvee Video

The Omaha Police Department is asking for the assistance from the public in the identification of a vehicle and suspect who was involved in purse snatchings.

Omaha Police are looking for a mid-90s maroon 4 door vehicle (possibly Nissan Maxima or like vehicle) with a broken drivers rear view mirror which is partially hanging down and damage to the front passenger quarter panel (see attached photos). This vehicle was involved in a purse theft at 5150 Center St. (Hy-Vee) on Friday, September 11, 2009 at 1:40 p.m. Suspect is a black male, 30 to 40 years old, heavy set, with bald or very short hair.
