Sky Tower at Sea World Orlando Video
This is a on ride POV of the Sky Tower ride at Sea World Orlando. I believe it opened with the park on Dec 15, 1973. It is Sea World's oldest opperating ride and costs extra to ride it as it always has. The tower is about 330ft/100.58m tall, but the observation pod rises only to the 300ft/91.44m mark which affords everyone a spectacular view of the area, including Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Orlando, and downtown Orlando.
Jewls1993: Lol, Atlantis "YOu get on it and just go straight down, it's not a roller coaster of nuffin" erm... wrong
rollerghost615: Cool!
woodencoasterfan: Yeah I wanted to say that but I was filming at the time. It was quite apparent she wasn't on the ride at all. I'd think it would be hard not to forget the second drop in the back, the part that runs on a steel roller coaster track (LOL)
Jewls1993: haha
whitcool: what is better kraken or manta? i went on kraken in 08 but then, i never even heard of manta! Which is better?
woodencoasterfan: Well, they're both really good rides. Manta opened this past spring and is a flying coaster. There's a off ride POV on my channel which includes a walk through of the line that has several aquariums in it. To be honest, it's a toss up for me as to which one is better. Riding Manta is like flying like Superman and Kraken is a completely different animal.
softballchic1998: I think Manta has a better position, I mean, you're lyng down!
