The fate of the youth enterprise development fund hangs in the balance after a renewed standoff between the minister and the board of directors over the funds CEO. the sports and youth affairs minister Hellen Sambili maintains that the youth fund CEO is not going anywhere, while the board will not recognise his re-appointment

odhiscroco: This is simple...the minister's word is final. NMG please do not escalate this. This kind of insubordination should not be tolorated. It weakens our institutions and encourages impunity. Whether the minister is right or wrong her word should be final. If the board feels aggrieved they should go to court. Tombo should be fired immediately in my opinion.

She is indeed a case study for those MPs who think that Ministers should have University Degrees.WRONG!! Eventhough a college degree may enhance leadership, it is neither neccessary nor a sufficient attribute. Back to Sambili, she is such a disgrace to fellow profs I only hope that not all Kenyan profs are like her

Imagine for a minute, that your boss makes a decision. You, because you don't like the decision decide to publicly disagree with your boss. How long will you have that job??? Bosses make decisions we don't like ALL THE TIME, but we live with it, because of the peeking order. Miss Tombo, how would you feel if the shoe was on the other foot?? Garbage!
