CO2 levels have increased from about 250ppm in the pre-industrial age, to now, about 380-390ppm. That is a huge increase. Check out the real reports on the subject. IPCCs 4th report is a good one. UNFCCC has all kinds of information also. educate yourself yo And really> you think the world would jump on board with this to make Gore rich? Come on....

No trend is perfectly linear and there have been other temp decreases that have occurred over the last 100 years. It is expected. But thanks for your "scientific" analysis of CO2. britmike84: Whatever your opinion on man-made climate change, our reliability on oil, coal and other non-renewable sources is not decreasing fast enough. By definition, they'll run out. We are now using up the Earth's resources at a faster rate than they can be naturally replenished. The smaller these sources of energy get, the more we as peoples will fight over them. The costs of R&D on renewable energy sources is, and will be, huge, but the human cost of staying our current course will be far greater.
