mabynke96: I'll try GFI, it looks like a great program. But I'm just wondering, when I back up my computer using the Vista-backup-tool, can it be restored by the W7-tool?
patr2001: I can't use the window backup uption included in window XP due to the 4gig per file limitation with fat32 formated externatl drive. GFI seems to be the solution to my problem since I could split the backup file in multiple 4 gig files. To do so, I want to have more information about the restore option. In case of a virus attack would I be able to format my hard drive and restore my entire computer image if I backed up my entire hard drive previously? Thank you for all your tips!
NiteAngel: I got a question: before one does this backup one should to do a disc image of you boot drive once the operating system is installed updated tweaked and some programs installed, this way if C drive goes BAD... install a new drive, run the disc image and this gigafile data backup... wham bang thank you mam you system is up and running in no time. so why cant Gigafile show us how to do a disc image of a working hard drive?????????
Boonchocks: you said the ultimate right there. "computers are not that dependable", now that's right.

Mitchell112694: if i use this because i am going to inall windows 7 will i back up my anti virous, router information, and all other files or no
Zyztematic: dude.. i just cant stop thinking about how time it must take to edit all this :O
frankixbox: so okay i have to do a clean install because im gonna get windows 7 ultimate and have vista home premium so if i back my data up using this will i be able to get it back?
