We arrive at Joes house and I look over at him sitting in the drivers seat of his car. I smile at him and take his hand in mine. He lifts my hand up to his lips and kisses it. "Your going to meet my older brother and my little sister. They're going to love you." I hope so. I really want to be accepted by his family. Then I realize what Joe had said. "Your little sister? I didnt know you had a little sister." "I dont technically. Shes more like... My adopted little sister. But I still love her." He said while looking up at his house. I open the passenger side door and get out of the car. Joe does the same and walks around to stand next to me. He gently kisses my cheek and takes my hand in his. "Are you ready to meet my family?" I have to admit... I am pretty nervous. Ive heard about his older brother Kevin. He is very strict about the vampire laws. What if he doesnt approve of me for his little brother? He might kill me....
Joe pulls me up to the house, every few seconds turning around to smile at me. I love him so much. Hes so perfect. When we get a little closer to the house, the front door opens and someone steps out. I reconize the vampire that is looking down at me. Nick.
Nick keeps looking down at me. He never looks away from my eyes. Even when Joe speaks to him. "What are you doing here Nick?" Nick keeps staring deep into my eyes and I cant keep myself from staring back into his. The way hes looking at me is just so intense... I can tell hes reading my mind. So I begin to think about Joe and how amazing he is. And how much I love him. Nick finally looks away from me to look down at his feet. I can tell hes hurt but he recovers quickly. He glares up at Joe and I hold onto his hand tighter, afraid of what might be about to happen. "I live here." Was all Nick said. I could tell by how tense Joe was that he wanted to say something to Nick, but he didnt. They both stood in their places glaring at each other. If you have never been standing in the middle of two very angry vampires, Its very frightening. All I wanted to do was take Joe and leave.
Suddenly Nick moves. If I had blinked I would have missed it. But within a second he had me scooped up into his arms and he was running into the woods near his house. "Nick! Let me down!" I nearly screamed at him. He stopped and sat me down on and old tree stump. I cross my arms infront of my chest and glare up at him.
He just stares back at me for what seemed like forever. Then finally he speaks. "Do you love Joe?" Well of coarse I love Joe, I think to myself. "Why do you ask?" He looks down at his feet and then back at me. "Because I love you. Ive loved you since the moment I first looked into your eyes. You are all I ever think about. Everything I do... I do for you. You mean everything to me. You are my world. You are my entire life. And I will love you until the end of eternity." I sit there in silence staring up at Nick in shock. He looks over his shoulder knowing that Joe is getting closer to finding us with every second then he looks back at me.
The next thing I knew, Nicks lips were crashing into mine with so much love and passion that I could feel his love for me. I closed my eyes and kissed him back. I remember the night that I first met him... How he had protected me from Shanon. He did that because he loved me. I wrap my arms around Nicks neck and stand up. He wraps his arms around my waist and keeps kissing me with all the passion in the universe. He really does love me.... And I love him back.
