It's Going To Be Okay - Episode 22 Part 1 Video

This one is in three parts.

*The next day at school, Demi was outside reading underneath a tree when Taylor walked over to her and kneeled in front of her*
Taylor: Demi, we need to talk.
Demi: What could you possibly have to say to me, Taylor?
Taylor: Look, Joe called me last night and told me that you saw us kiss
Demi: Is there a point to this history lesson?
Taylor: I kissed him. Its not what he wanted, Demi, or he wouldnt have pushed me away once I did. He told me he loved you. Despite what you might think, I have changed. Im not like I used to be. I kissed him on impulse because hes the first person to be nice to me in a very long time. Not that I deserved it.
Demi: Is there anything else?
Taylor: I just wanted you to know that. Because its the truth. And because Joe does love you. Even I can tell that. I dont think that you can say you dont love him back without flat out lying. Also, Im sorry for how I acted towards you in the past. It was wrong. I didnt realize the monster Cody was until after Mileys party. So everything I did or said, I truly regret. And Im sorry about the baby too, Demi. Because of all of the girls I know, regardless of how your child was created, you would have been a great mother, because you are a great person. You and Joe are meant to be together. Dont let me or anyone else get in your way.
Demi: (Closes her book and stands up) Well its been nice chatting with you, Taylor. But I need to go. Bye.

*Demi headed inside the school and towards her locker. Before she got there she noticed Joe standing next to her locker with a single red rose in his hand. She walked over and without looking at him, entered her combination and opened the door. She placed her book on the top shelf and then closed it. She then turned around and started to walk away*
Joe: (Not moving, he speaks up) Would you please stop walking away from me?
Demi: (Still walking, without turning around, she raises her voice) I will when you stop walking up to me.
Joe: (Runs after her, and then stands in front of her) Demi, Im sorry.
Demi: (Acting oblivious, a single tear runs down her cheek) For what, Joe?
Joe: (Grabs the back of her neck and pulls her face to his and kisses her passionately)
Demi: (Kisses back and the places her hand on the side of his face. A moment later, she places both hands on his chest and pushes him away as hard as she could. She just stares at him, waiting for him to say something)
Joe: (Gives her the rose) I love you, Demi. Only you. Its only ever been you. I know youre mad at me because Ive been pushing you away, but I just didnt know what else to do to protect you. I know it hurt you when you saw Taylor kiss me, but I didnt kiss her back. You have to believe me.
Demi: (Looks down) I know I mean, I do.
Joe: Babe
Demi: (Nods her head, then looks up at him and whispers) I love you too.
Joe: (Smiles and then steps towards her to give her a hug)
Demi: (Wraps her arms around his neck and stares into his eyes)
Joe: (Leans down and kisses her again)

*Nick and Selena walked up to where Joe and Demi were making out. They looked at each other, smiled and then looked back at Joe and Demi*
Nick: (For some reason, it hurt him a little to see Demi kissing his brother, but confused to why, he shakes it off) Dont mean to interrupt
Selena: Yeah, dont mind us or anything
Demi: (Pulls away from Joe, smiles, then lets go. She steps over to Selena with a smile still on her face) Hey Sel.
Selena: (Smiles again, then hugs her) Its about time.
Nick: (Looks at Joe) Im happy for you, bro.
Demi: (Lets go of Selena) Do you guys realize what this means?
Joe: (Confused) What?
Selena: (Looks at Demi, catching on to what shes thinking, then smiles)
Nick: (Confused) Alright, an answer would be nice.
Demi: (Chuckles) We can finally double date again.
Selena: It seems like its been forever.
Nick: (Takes Selenas hand) It really does.
Joe: (Takes Demis hand) How about tonight?
Demi: (Smiles) Sounds perfect!
Selena: We should totally make this a triple date!
Nick: And who do you propose be the third couple?
Joe: (Raises his hand) Ooh, ooh, I know who.
Demi: (Giggles and pulls his hand down, then looks at Selena)
Selena: (Looks at Demi and nods)
Nick: (Clues in) David
Joe: And Miley.
Selena: Ill text her
Joe: And Ill text him
Demi: Ill meet you all after school?
Nick: Where are you going?
Demi: Ive got something I need to take care of. Ill see you all later (Kisses Joe and then leaves)
Nick: See you guys after class (Kisses Selena and leaves too)
Joe: (Looks at Selena) Tonight has to be perfect.
Selena: (Smiles) It will be. For all of us.
