Ladyfargo: Ringo...you spent a lot of time critizing Steve Harvey & his testimony. How can you say that this man. It says in Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. That's GOD's requirement to be saved. I don't agree w/his comedy, so I don't listen to it. But that don't give me nor you the right to say that he is not saved. What about David, Peter just to mention a few
Ladyfargo: At the end of the day we will all be judged by our every word & deed. I didn't listen to all your reddrick. GOD is the ultimate judge. How you living? Have you ever made any mistakes? Sometimes christians have the tendency to be so heavenly bound that we are no earthly good. We sometimes take scripture out of context & use it to fit our purpose. Why are you so angry @ a person that is doing the best he can to express how he is feeling. People like you are dangerous & appear self righteous.

speaklife2people: Concerning the interpretation of Mark 13:13, I agree that enduring to the end is KEY to the walk of a "believer". However, I believe according to Romans 10:9-13 (with emphasis on v. 10) that through Christ your heart is changed unto righteousness (meaning WALKING IN RIGHTEOUSNESS ref. John 3:21) inwhich if you are DOING (a continuation) this in sincerity and truth, you ARE of the "saved". This is what i believe Paul was referring to in regards to who are the "saved"...meaning presently saved.
speaklife2people: ...which by the way I'm not insinuating that Steve is walking in this because he's not. He "may" feel a heaviness and yea he admitted he makes mistakes BUT to know that a certain part of your life is contrary to the moral laws and character of God and yet continue to pursue and live in it anyway says a lot about where your heart is and in spite of the tears, it's still a CHOICE that he's intentionally making, and those that are "saved" don't intentionally and continually defy God.
speaklife2people: However, God is working in Steve in the context of tapping at his heart. His need to justify his actions and lifestyle are evidence to what he "knows" he "should" be doing. I agree with Ladyfargo in that we SHOULD be praying for him but let's not join in the building up of the self justification. There is a difference between admitting a mistake and repenting (turning away from the wrong) vs. admitting a mistake, justifying it but knowingly and intentionally continuing in the same mistakes.
jollysincere: What people must bear in mind, No one is judging Steve Harvey, It was he who chose to revive the role Tammy Faye Baker played so well, Now mind you, Tammys mascara did give her a dramatic edge, especially when it dripped, & she looked like Bozo-etta the lady clown. all we did was to C that his act wasn't up to par.

tayl3694: No... Ringo for life is not telling the truth. In fact, he's taking scripture out of context and being judgemental. I'm not going to debate every word he's shared. But I will say, that in the first few minutes he totally misguided the principal of salvation. To be saved you must: CONFESS with your mouth and BELIEVE in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and the son of God. Those steps make you saved. After that, we ALL live in grace and mercy.
tayl3694: Yes, we should turn from our sinful ways and strive to be like Christ... but none of us are perfect and that's where grace, mercy, and the prayers of the rightous intercede on our behalf... please do not be swayed or decieved by the spirit in this video... find the meaning of salvation for yourself... its printed in black and white in your Bible... don't take my word for it or Ringo's please read it for yourself. 27ade: Thank you RINGO u've got The Spirit in you,The minute i watched the interview all i could think was deception.Deception that's all it was,so deceiving,Steve deceived and was deceived in this interview.TBN gave their stamp of approval on Steve so he'll walk on as a victim of false salvation.The audience ate up the whole Book part,Steve needs prayers not interviews.TBN are fond of this kind of deception.
Naltino: I'm not sure how old you are, but, I'm telling you this from one black man to the next (assuming you're a brother, by your imdaman241 title), learn to speak and write properly. This is not to insult you, but, hopefully make you better. The way you speak to your boys, and the way you write should be two different things.

PRcongaPLYR: Mark 13:13 is about Jesus talking about the end times. Those that endure the end times, etc. etc.... Read Ephesians 2:8. Paraphrased: We are saved by God's grace, so NO ONE can boast. Also, about the "IDC what you heard." He's only reinforcing that he is a new creation. His old is gone and new has come.(2 Corinth. 5:17) If he has asked for forgiveness, his sin is as far as the East is from the West to God(Ps. 103:12), so who are we to judge? Read (Matt 7:2). Check ur theology & leave him be bro.
