Joe -- thanks..um i kinda need your help
Mrs. Jonas -- why? Whats going on?
Joe -- well Leahs been a bit...i donno
Mrs. Jonas -- moody?
Joe -- yeah
Mrs. Jonas -- thats completely normal Joe
Joe -- but shes driving me crazy
Mrs. Jonas -- it cant be that bad
Joe -- shes always mad at me
Mrs. Jonas -- it will get better Joe, and in the end youll have that beautiful baby
Joe -- yeah i guess
Mrs. Jonas -- and you can come over any time if things are getting to hard
Joe -- thanks
Mrs. Jonas -- you should go be with Leah right now tho, and dinner will be ready soon
Joe -- okay [walks into the living room]
Kevin -- Leahs still upstairs
Joe -- well im sure shell be down soon
Nick -- can you get her out of here? Shes in a bad mood
Kevin -- Nick shut up!
Nick -- whatever
Leah -- [comes down, tears rolling down her cheeks, goes over to Joe, hugs him]
Joe -- whats wrong Leah?
Leah -- im sorry [hugs him tighter]
Joe -- [sits her on his lap, wraps his arms around her waist]
Leah -- im really sorry Joey
Joe -- dont be sorry [kisses her head]
Nick -- cant you guys go home?
Kevin -- Nick just go upstairs!
Nick -- fine [leaves]
Kevin -- sorry about him
Joe -- im kinda used to it
Leah -- im not
Joe -- well youll get used to it
Leah -- i dont want to
LATER AFTER DINNER
Joe -- [sitting on the couch, watching tv]
Leah -- [cuddled close to Joe, sleeping]
Kevin -- is she asleep?
Joe -- i think so [plays with Leahs hair] baby are you asleep?
Kevin -- i think she is
Joe -- well i guess that means its time for us to go home
Mrs. Jonas -- you can just stay here tonight Joe, its already late
Joe -- no we should go home
Kevin -- Joe just stay, its not safe driving at night after youve been drinking
Joe -- i didnt drink that much
Mrs. Jonas -- your old room is still set up, just spend the night in there
Joe -- fine well stay
Mrs. Jonas -- good, ill go grab some extra blankets for the room just in case [leaves]
Joe -- Nick isnt going to be happy about us staying
Kevin -- Nick isnt happy about anything
Joe -- he needs a girlfriend
Kevin -- yeah he does
Joe -- im going to go take Leah upstairs, then ill come back down
Kevin -- okay
Joe -- [picks up Leah, being careful not to wake her up, goes upstairs and into his old room, lays Leah down on the bed]
Leah -- [starts to wake up] Joe?
Joe -- shh go back to sleep baby [kisses her head, pulls the blanket over her, then goes back downstairs]
Kevin -- is she in bed?
Joe -- yeah
Kevin -- were you scared when you found out she was pregnant?
Joe -- a bit at first, but i love Leah and i knew i wanted a family with her later anyways..why do you ask?
Kevin -- no reason..you and Leah were already engaged tho right?
Joe -- yeah we were
Kevin -- okay well that makes things a bit different, if you and Leah werent engaged do you think you would feel different about the baby?
Joe -- Kevin where is all this coming from?
Kevin -- its nothing
Joe -- just tell me
WITH NICK
NICKS POV
i had been watching tv, but i got a bit bored so i walked out of the room and down the hall. I was going to go downstairs and see whats going on, but then i walked past Joes old room. Leah was sleeping, so i guess they decided to stay the night. I walked into the room and sat down on the bed. Leah moved a little, but she didnt wake up. I played with her hair and she smiled.
I had always thot Leah was cute, sometimes she was a little annoying but i couldnt help but love her. I wanted to get over her and i tried everything to forget her because i knew she was with Joe and i shouldnt think about her in the way that i do..but no matter what i do she never leaves my mind. I just dont know what to do.
