Tamil widow is a movie based on how an American woman married to a Tamil from Sri Lanka, loses her husband Tamilselvam, because the world stood still when the Sri Lankan government continued their carnage and genocide against innocent Tamil civ ilians. Her husband went to Sri Lanka to rescue his 80 year old parents, who were caged in the barbed wired camp. While trying to take his parents back to US with him he was solely murdered there for the reason of being a Tamil.
After the cruel murder of her husband, Mary set out on a mission to expose all the inhuman killing and cruel acts happening against Tamils in Sri Lanka. Mary wanted to expose how she had to witness her tragedy just because of the lack of concern and law for humanity from all the powerful nations and how great leaders of the world communities have been zombies to ignore such calamity that has befallen the Tamil community to live a life that is fair without any discrimination or marginalization for their origin on Mother earth or even have a chance to live a life."

JaffnaTamilslnDublin: As it is clear that the IDPs from Kilinochchi and Mullaiththeevu districts are not going to be resettled in their own places in the near future, the government is planning to attend to the administrative affairs and educational activities of the two districts in the camps, using these government servants.

JaffnaTamilslnDublin: The government servants were unable to continue their respective duties due to the war but had been paid their salaries until now.

JaffnaTamilslnDublin: The salary paid to the above government servants now will be stopped and their jobs suspended if they failed to report for duties immediately, the order further said.

Chandrsiri, issued an order Wednesday calling all the government servants who had been serving in the districts of Mullaiththeevu and Kilinochchi in war torn Vanni to immediately report for duties at the IDP camps in Vavuniyaa, in a meeting held in Trincomalee with the heads of the government departments, sources in Vavuniyaa said.
