10 Reasons Why I'm Vegetarian Video

False claims about vegetarianism by uneducated people:

Most vegetarians/vegans are 'PETA freaks' or involved with PETA somehow

Vegetarians are weak, anemic, pale, have low energy etc etc.

Vegetarians don't get enough protein (including complete protein)

Vegetarians don't get enough iron

You have to eat way more food to get the same amount of nutrients found in meat

There are no professional or successful vegetarian/vegan athletes

Please refrain from making such statements, as I have explained time and time again why they are false, and given proof. I advise you to google nutrition and educate yourself.

UndyingRevolution: A supermarket supports the meat-industry by selling meat. Should I not shop at a supermarket? A computer seller who eats meat would use some of his profits to fund his meat eating ways. Should I not buy a computer for this reason?

About milk.... the countries that consume the most dairy products are also the ones with the highest osteoporosis rates. Countries that consume relatively low amounts (or none at all), have relatively low rates of osteoporosis. The milk industry through advertising and government lobbying have convinced the masses that they 'need' dairy. Wake up people! Never trust a big corporation!

ByeByeBelly: It's better not to, but for some people, that's not possible. I aim to have my own land and grow my own food eventually, because I'd enjoy it and it's one of my passions. But no one can be perfect in a world full of corruption.

UndyingRevolution: I do grow some of my own veggies in the backyard. Mainly herbs, but also tomatoes, corn, broccoli, etc. I usually don't have enough for all meals, but the rest I get from the local community gardens (I volunteer 2 hours a week, and I can get as many veggies as I'm willing to pick - This is in Toowoomba by the way). But things like flour, breakfast cereal, tofu, bread, etc. I have no other option but to buy from a supermarket. How about you? Where do you mainly get your groceries?

ByeByeBelly: I always say that being vegetarian has no effect on your muscle mass or fat. You eat the same nutrients, so your body won't change unless you restrict calories. So I guess you fail.

therealKINDLE: Have you watched Food Inc. yet? It's a documentary about what goes in our food. Like Whats injected into our meat, Whats sprayed on our Veg, & how the government control all the farmers, advertisers & retailers with threats of debt, lawsuits etc. It doesn't matter if you're Vegetarian or not. Each time you by food, it's going towards the vote of "I'm happy with the current system". Diabeties, Crohn's, Ulcerative colitis etc They are all on the rise. Codex, Freezing, Imports etc. It's all bad :(

ByeByeBelly: I worked as a McDonald's manager a couple of years ago and ate a lot of it. Mainly fries and cheeseburger w/o meat. I don't eat it anymore.
