MQqua1: They're quite good! And I think this is a very thought-provoking question! I'd say the following American bands are certainly better: Wilco, The Flaming Lips, Animal Collective. And the following American bands may be better (time will tell): Grizzly Bear, Lightning Bolt, LCD Soundsystem, Vampire Weekend, Dirty Projectors, Wavves.

cuttoothom: that's the only plausible contender I could think of...and even they don't quite do it as well for me because they seem patchy. I pretty much worship Feels, though. Eyes up ears up!
