**Alexas pov**
Could he be any more amazing? Maybe but i've yet to figure out how he is in bed. Hm. Oh there we go..i have Katelyns mind for the night. OH the joy..
"Wow..im full.." i say laying my head against my arm.
"Me too...curly french fries with honey mustard..awesome." he says. I smile then yawn. "Time for bed Lexa?"
"Yeah..i think so.." i say as he gets up to throw the food away. I grab my bottle of diet coke and he wraps his arm around me. Can he feel my pulse quicken? Can he hear my heart racing? I dont think i've ever felt this way about any boy before. He tickles my side and i jump laughing. He chuckles resting his elbows on his knees laughing.
"You're face was hilarious!" he gasps laughing.
"Be quiet." i cross my arms. He walks over and lays his hands on my shoulders. We're staring at each other both directly in the eyes. I can feel his breath on my lips as his face inches closer to mine. He lays a trembling hand on the back of my warm neck and i rest my hands on his chest. His lips curl into a smile before he finally takes a jumping leap and kisses me full on. His lips are so soft and have a taste of diet coke. His mouth is minty though. I realize that when he slightly parts my lips letting his tongue in. I latch my arms around his neck locking my hands together. A spark of something goes through my body making me all warm and fuzzy inside. My head is spinning and my hands are sweating through the skin. I like this feeling. A lot. He moves the hand still on my shoulder to rest against my waist. I lean up on my tip toes to deepen the kiss. He wraps both arms around my torso now resting his hands on the small of my back. I lean into him more wrestling with his tongue. Our lips connect one last time before he finally pulls away pressing his for head to mine. I took a deep breath as his eyes opened. His lips curled into a smile.
"Wow.."
"Yeah..wow.." i reply taking another breath like he does. "Nick.."
"Yeah?" he leans back against the wall. I break apart from the embrace to pace.
"Listen..i've never really had a steady boyfriend and..and all the boys i've ever really liked found some other girls to occupy the space i couldn't fill. I dont think im that pretty. Im not self conscious but..but when it comes to dating and things like this..i dont know what to do. I've never kissed anyone like that before and i really really REALLY liked it" i took another breath. "I dont want to sound like a freak when im telling you all of this..but im falling for you hard and im scared im going to end up heartbroken." he walks over to stand in front of me causing me to come to and abrupt halt. He takes his finger lifting up my chin so im looking him directly in his gorgeous eyes.
"I will NEVER hurt you Alexa. I promise i will do everything i can to keep you from ever getting hurt. To be honest...yeah okay I've had kisses from other girls..but I've NEVER felt the way i feel with them when im with you. When I kiss you..everything stops. Its me and you thats it. We're the only two in this room, in this state..on this earth. I feel everything when im with you. I think im in love you." he admits blushing slightly and looking away. My lips curl into a smile.
"Really?" i ask excited.
"Really Alexa..and thats why i want to ask you something." my heart skips a beat. He backs away from me to fish something out of his pants pocket. He walks back over to me holding a long blue satin box.
"Alexa..i've never felt this way about someone before." he says.
"Okay..and.."
"And..well.." he opened the box revealing a silver diamond heart necklace with a pink diamond in the middle. My eyes widened as it sparkled with the dull light of the over head aquarium lights.
"Oh my god."
"Alexa..will you be my girlfriend?"
"I..uhm..i..yes.." i whisper. "Yes." he smiles and moves closer to me. I turn around and lift up my hair. He clips the necklace on and i smile letting a tear roll down my cheek. "Nick..its gorgeous."
"Just like you." he whispers taking my hair and letting it fall back to my shoulders. He kisses my cheek and brings his arms around me. Some guy walks over to us with a big bag. Looks like its full of sleeping bags and what not. "Thanks." Nick says grabbing the bag. I yawn again staring at my reflection in the glass of the big ocean tank. He chuckles.. "Come on love...the over head shark tank is this way.."
