whoisyouranime: Yeah, I really wanted to like this anime but the animation needs work.

theuprightman83: It really clicked with me in a lot of ways. I noticed the artwork is in a similar style to Crusher Joe, I think it looks great. The closest to Yoshitaka Amano's you're ever going to see animated is Angel's Egg. I can't really fault it on not looking exactly like the concept art given the amount of time and money would be needed to pull it off. You forgot the point out the trippy chanting battle scene near the end. That gets more hilarious with every viewing.
