Narrator -
Most stories are about love. But some are about family. But this story is about a friendship that never ended. Even after when so much happened.
Persis 17-
"What happend to Amadeus? Were is he Ginny?"
"Sugar. You were like a sister to me. I love you as a sister. But I need to go. I must find Amadeus."
Persis Older-
"Gabriel, you are a true friend. But I already have a true friend. And I can't betray that friendship. No matter what."
Amadeus 14-
"Persis we checked this place out. Lets go back up before we get in trouble."
Amadeus Older-
"Isabel...I can't love you. I only want to be friends."
"Persis...a friend I can never forget. I'm sorry."
Forte-
"Oh yah. My father use to read it to me. Right before I went to bed every night. One chapter. Then he would ask me to every new character that was added, he would ask me what I thought they looked like."
Piano -
"Persis. There is a meeting for children in the church. You must go."
"That is it Persis, you are going to that meeting whether you like it or not."
Ginny -
"You will, but you may not recognize her. It will be a great many years before you will see her again. She will change. I hope that you know that. Carry her up to a room and say goodbye for now."
Sugar -
"I need to change you. With that hair style, people will know your from what town your from."
"But I must. To protect you I must do it."
Gabriel -
"I'm Gabriel Von Draken. Lord of Shales."
"Persis, I love you. I don't care about anyone else. Just you."
Isabel -
"Come on Amadeus! We'll miss the show!"
"How can you say that Amadeus? How can you even do that? It's heartless of you."

MistressPharah: the book revolves around one character(Persis)...there's three parts in her life that are important when she's 14, 17, and older.
