New Guinea Singing Dogs (Tazi & Dinki) Video

This video features two rare NGSD's. Dinki is the tan & white NGSD. Tazi (the black & tan NGSD) is one of only 4 known black & tan Singers and is the only black & tan in private hands. The rarest of the rare.

tomcue2: sandpiper, Thanks for asking and a great question as there are many who doubt the purity of the 3 black & tans that were produced a few years ago. The black and tan is pure along with the tan Singer. A six generation pedigree was provided by their owners that is filled with ISIS #'s which is the zoos version of a pedigree for animals.

sandpiper21212: Thank you ... i wish we had a larger genetic pool of the breed to see what else pops up in their features! :) BTW, i saw your post on the yahoogroups mailing list. I don't have any of those beauties, but am very interested in learning more about them and other primitive dogs. tomcue2: Shireen, The genetic pool is actually 1 Singer larger then believed. Our organization is also planning an expedition to New Guinea in the near future in search of bloodlines. Our explorers are at 4 and counting. We also have Singers available for adoption. If you are a member of our yahoo group then you know of the special needs and security measures to share life with an NGSD.
