not scary, but cool (a halloween tale) Video

I started writing this series of stories 6 years ago. I now have a dozen of them.

These are short, silly stories about Halloween and the frustrations of the classic icons that find they are no longer scary. Even though Skeleton is often upstaged by the other, crazier, characters, I think of him as the main character of the stories and he is the only one that appears in each story. In fact, the first word of all but one story is "Skeleton". The others that make up Skeleton's desperate and sad circle of friends include: determined Vampire, pun-happy Witch, playful Ghost, clumsy Mummy, cool cat Werewolf and many others.

gothling1955: Between sweet transvestites & shock treatments, I thought someone was either going to burst into song or start doing the time warp again. :-) I like the way you have these allegedly "not scary" characters confronted with the various popular culture icons of the latterday genre. Chainsaw maniac was a great touch, and here he is mindlessly following our recurring fiends, as if he hadn't a clue how else to indulge in murder & mayhem. But meeting up with the "Rocky Horror" crowd was truly inspired.

TheBlueFlamingo: Agreed. But, when I was writing these things and posting them on the Internet years ago, she had a following that wanted to see more of her. She's not one of my favorite characters.

TheBlueFlamingo: Um, yeah, we thought about that, but Skeleton has a horrible singing voice and Mummy couldn't memorize the words. Chainsaw Maniac does everything mindlessly. I need to get some more of these done. You still haven't met Pumpkin, Cannibal, Zombie...
