Chapter 122: Jonas Test Video

Nick's P.O.V.

I woke the next morning with Nicole still on top of me. She had a death grip on me, so there was no escaping. I rolled she and I onto our sides, swung my legs out of the bunk to the ground, and pulled her into my arms.

I carried her into the front room. Joe and Kev were eating cereal. "Morning," they said.

"Morning," I replied. I sat down at the table and put Nicki beside me. She stirred slightly, and curled into my side.

"I got her," Kevin said. He placed his bowl in the sink, then picked Nicki up. He sat down on the couch and laid her on his lap. She snuggled into his chest, even though I knew she was still asleep.

I looked at Joe.

"We have to keep an eye on her," he said.

"I know. I-I'm worried," I stuttered.

He got up and kissed the top of my head. "We all are, but we'll keep her close."

He tried to comfort me, but I could tell he was scared.

Nicole was with the girls. She was talking again, and was regaining her good mood. She did, however, get a little smart earlier. I had to take her over my knee for just a short reminder with my hand to be good.

We were filming the 'I Miss You' video in a few days. It was gonna show Nicki at home alone, in black in white. She would be subdued and sad. Then she would begin to write the song. It would flash to us, and we would be at concerts and doing press. We would be sad in private. It would show us on the phone talking to one another. We would begin writing the song too, even though we are miles away from her. At the end, the color comes in when we are reunited by us suprising her at home. We couldn't wait to do it, because it was going to be really good.

"Umm guys?" David was standing there looking nervous. "Can I talk to you about something?"

"Sure, what's up?" Kevin asked. David sat down on the couch across from us.

"I know you probably won't like this idea, but I was wondering if I could ask Nicole out on a date," he said.

Kevin, Joe, and I glanced at each other. Jonas Test time.

"How many girlfriends?" I asked. He answered immediately, "Two."

"What happened?" Joe asked.

"One cheated on me, and the other just dumped me," he replied.

"Ever drank, smoked, or anything of that nature?" Kevin asked.

"Never have, never will," he said.

"This may be too personal, but are you a virgin?" Joe asked.

"Yes, and I will be until I'm married."

We looked at each other again. David answered all of our questions easily and truthfully. He really was a good guy. We nodded to each other.

"You can," I said. "Just don't hurt her."

"I won't," he said, sticking out his hand. He shook each of ours, then left to find Nicki.

NICKI's P.O.V.

I was sitting with Selena, Demi, and Danielle when David walked in. I looked up at him and he smiled at me. Butterflies filled my stomach.

"Nicole, can I speak to you...alone?" he asked. The three girls giggled, and walked out of the room. Demi winked at me before closing the door behind her.

David came and sat down next to me. "What's up?" I asked.

"I was uh, um..." he trailed off.

"Yes?" I questioned.

He took a deep breath. "Will you go to lunch with me tomorrow?"

"L-Like a date," I stuttered out, shocked. He nodded. "Yes."

He smiled and hugged me. I hugged back. I really like David, and now I was going on a date with him!

After that, I ran all the way to my brothers and jumped onto Joey, because he was the first I saw. He wrapped his arms around my waist and hugged me tightly. I hugged Nick next, then Kevy.

"Thanks guys," I told them.

"No problem," Kevin replied, smiling.
