Black Pro Athletes - Broke, Jailed, Or Dead! Video

Sean D talking about the POOR judgement synonymous with MANY Black pro athletes, who earn MILLIONS of dollars during their careers, but ended up being either BANKRUPT, INCARCERATED, or even DEAD at a young age. I'm NOT 'Hating' or 'Degrading'...it's just a sick reality, and if the truth hurts, so be it. So WHO'S REALLY to BLAME for the bad decisions made by Black athletes ? Multiple Homes, Multiple Cars, Multiple Children from Multiple Women, Multiple Hangers-Ons, etc ? Basically, Multiple examples of Poor Judgement ? Is it Society, the Fanbase, or the Team Owners' fault ? How about the Athletes themselves ? Let's stop sugar coating this never ending cycle. This video is dedicated to the likes of Rae Carruth, Michael Vick, Plaxico Burress, Mike Tyson, Quincy Carter, Travis Henry, Adam Pacman Jones, Fred Lane, Donté Stallworth, O.J. Simpson, Steve McNair, Maurice Clarrett, Lawrence Phillips, Darrent Williams, Sean Taylor, Mercury Morris, Rumeal Robinson, and Others!

rosey10880: Michael Crabtree made me sick to with his arrogant self. I would have laughed at him if he reentered the draft and never got picked.
twalk2008: Sean D, my audio is jacked up so I will holla at you on this video.
seand67: Thanks, and I agree, but this video is about Black Athletes. And "well The White man does this and that" excuse is VERY OLD. Please, stop trying to justify or sugar coat the poor judgement of Black Athletes.
rosey10880: Oh honey you best believe i am the last person who would try and cover up for black stupidity. And I wanna add I also get tired of seeing black people showing off on shows like cribs and how they living. They should learn to keep their homes private and cars private.
seand67: Thanks Rosey, I appreciate that. Creating the list of athletes (in the video description) was a little too easy, and it was depressing to an extent. My thing is, why won't our people learn from the COUNTLESS mistakes made before them ? I'm not 'Hating' athletes or their so-called 'swagg'. Just talking about the harsh reality. Many of the Brothers in college & pro sports need to simply take things seriously. It's a rough business, and they'll bring you back down to Earth...quickly!
seand67: Talk to you later Thomas!
rosey10880: Oh we know you are not hating because we are all wondering why are black athletes and entertainers too dumb to secure their future. All it takes is a few key investment and they could really be set for life.
stansayer: They're stupid because no one taught them ANYTHING about money.
seand67: Not just money, but how to act mature and take responsibility for the decisions they make. Basic life lessons
stansayer: Same thing -- no one taught them ANYTHING. I don't think these guys had fathers, so they don't know what reality is. They don't have strong male figures to show them how to act like a man. To me, that's where coaches come in.
seand67: I agree, but most of these high paid athletes come with a 'diva' attitude, and will probably cuss the coaches out. They get all the money and feel ABOVE everything that really matters. And when they come crashing down....Que Sera Sera
twalk2008: I don't blame anyone but the person.(Antoine Walker) But it's definitely a Social-economic situation. When you put a Pro-athlete from a Poor environment, you usually get Poor results.
seand67: I'm gonna attach the 2 part video we recorded together that touched on this topic (in addition to many others).
DjWhooCares: they should follow Lamar odoms footsteps, he invests his money so the money ends up working for him. im sure theres many others that do that too, but you catch my drift. you can splurge when youre financially stable.
u2hubbard: I'm not calling you a hater. I'm just saying we know the sad reality, but what solutions do you offer? Instead of sayi dumb nigga dumb nigga won't you give ideals on how they can improve instead of stressing the issue.
seand67: I never EVER used the N-word in ANY of my videos or in life. Can you communicate without the use of that word ? At any rate, It's not up to ME (or you) to raise these athletes to have common sense and to become men in the real world. Rae Caruuth (Read about THIS cat!)
Unknown3911: Black athlethes doing good for the community is Rare exception? What about Cullen Jones (Black Olympic swimmer) Gilbert Arenas Alonzo Mourning Laila Ali Ovie Mughelli Tiger woods, Dwayne Wade etc! Come on man, just quit the "hate" You are giving blacks a bad name just because the media mostly shows blacks screwing up.
seand67: Thanks for your list of positive Brothers, BUT like many people who refuse to acknowledge or accept the negativity involving MANY Black athletes, you accuse me of..."Hating". That is a damn cop out, so please stop blaming the media for what you think is percieved...It's a sick reality. What's worse, speaking the truth, or sticking your head in the ground ?
wintersnowboard: i dont think its fair to generalize all "black athletes" mess up most of the media usually just focuses on the negative i mean take Larry Fitzgerald, Chris Johnson, Tiger Woods, Strahan, all those guys are black and are handling/handled the fame/money fine theres the good and theres the bad and thats how it wil always be thats just my opinion but i respect your opinion as well thanks for the post
seand67: I appreciate your comments. Good to know that there are some Black athletes who take advantage of pro sports the right way. I'm still not going to blame the media for focusing on the many knuckleheads who f*ck up in more ways than one. It's too late in the day for excuses of any kind.
wintersnowboard: oh for sure its theyre fault for messin up i jus meant like u never hear the media talkin about athletes doing good in the community and stuff
seand67: True enough. That's why I mentioned Warrick Dunn in my video. That Brother is one of the most respected & loved guys in the NFL & the community. Wish Atlanta didn't release him a few years back.
matt97c83: I think ignorance and stupidity cross all racial boundaries just like integrity and success do. You don't win or lose because of your skin color but by the choices you make. I think it's just harder to make good decisions when you're famous b/c of all the temptations.
seand67: Thanks for watching and posting your comments. So many Black athletes are basically weak minded and can't resist a variety of temptations after getting those millions ? Hmm, guess you're right.
amazondotcombuyer: i saw this video from 0:00 to 5:17 and i gave this video 5 stars. well said seand67!
