The rest of the day flew by and i raced home to call my dad and ask if Adam could come over.I'm sure he wouldn't mind but its always nice to ask. "Hello,Phil Lesmend's office,how may I help you?"my dad answered. "Hii daddy,how are you?" "Oh hi sweetie I'm good how was your first day of school?" "It was great."i said then i rushed into a play by play of my dad with my dad oohing and aahhing the whole time. "Well it sounds like it was fun." "Yeah i said and well the guy Adam I told you about,I was wondering if he could come over tonight,he offered to help me unpack." "Of course its fine hunny,will he be staying for dinner?" "Uhm, I'm not sure.I'll ask him when i call him." "Okay hun well ill see you when i get home." "Okay love you daddy,I'll make spaghetti tonight. Love you,bye." "Okay sweetheart that sounds good.Love you too,bye." he hung up. Next I called Adam. "Hello is Adam there"i said to the person who answered. "Yes this is him." 'Oh hi Adam its Abbi,i was calling to let you know its fine for you to come over." 'Okay great!" "Did you also want to stay for dinner?I'm making spaghetti." "Uh okay i know just where that's at.Ill be there in ten." "Okay see you then." I was so nervous for him to come over. I really wanted to get to know him better and I hope tonight went good. Like he said ten minutes later there was a knock at the door.Huge butterflies entered my stomach immediately. I opened the door to see him standing there looking at my Corvette.When he turned around he was smiling at said "Nice car does everyone in this town like to drive fast?" then he laughed. "So Abbi this may sound forward but i want to get to know you.I think your really pretty and as crazy as it sounds i already like you." Okay somebody pinch me this has to be dream. "Really Adam?I want to get to know you too,i think your really cute and i like you too." "Well thats a relief."he laughing. "Yeah it really is."i said biting my lip. "I love the beauty.Its so green and lively there." "Well thats good,and the thing i love about California is the beaches.I think they are beautiful." "Yeah i saw a few on the way in,they are pretty." I had to ask,because i needed to know. "So,do you uhm have a girlfriend or anything?" "N-no,not anymore." "Oh,not anymore?"i said. Not anymore?Did they just break up?Did he still have feelings for her? "Well we broke up a few weeks ago.She still has feelings for em but i want nothing to do with her." "Oh, yes she is i love her brown eyes they are gorgeous." "Thank you."i said blushing even deeper. "So what are your friends back home like?Do you miss them already? I hadn't thought about Kimmy,,Sophie and Mandy in forever. "Yeah i do miss them.They're great.Mandy is my best friend.She's the crazy fun one out of the group. Kimmy is the party girl and the fashion one. Sophie is the one you can always count on when your in a bad situation." Thinking about them was making me sad.I felt like crying. "Like i remember this one time that there was a really bad rumor going around about me. Sophie cleared it up and started an even worse rumor about the other girl." Then i couldn't do it anymore i started crying. "My last night there we had so much fun but we cried a lot. I've known all of them since elementary we've always been our group. I miss them a lot."
