As for your question , do I find someone like Yoke up as offensive as the transsexual thing? Yes, definitely. I thought sister sunshine was a chronie of Yoke ups.

SisterSunnshine: Good video Nance. I like how you point out that some misled Christians can just as thoroughly blacken the good name of Christ and His works. Too often Christians (so-called) are the best inoculation against Christ..

happyjesus123: I think if you look at the Canonical Gospels objectively you will see a character that is very different from Jewish traditions. He doesn't get married and seems to have little interest in starting a family (Judaism does not have a celibate priesthood). He seems to be heavily influenced by Greek ideas. It is quite likely that this character was non-sexual or possibly homo-sexual. This point is not emphasized in the canonical texts although there is a mysterious naked young man in Mark.

happyjesus123: Which God(s) are you speaking of and what have they made "beyond clear"?

mogulwraith: I think it is more likely that the portrayal of a Jesus who seems to ignore animal needs are just to suggest that the spiritual, not the worldly, was his mission. I don't think it actually implies anything at all about his sexuality. I am an atheist btw.

happyjesus123: Certainly you can argue that. Some Mormons argue that Jesus was married to three women based his degree of familiarity with them. The woman who dries Jesus feet with her hair in Luke 7:34 for example. People including some Gay people see Jesus as a role model and thus he is just like they are. Which is actually one of the points of the Jesus tradition. My friend YokeUp is just being "Christ like" in his own special way.
