Voivod - M Body Video
This song struck even me as weird because of multiple reasons.
It kicks too much ass, like Voivod always does. ; This song has a lot of character and personality.
The lyrics must be about a gruesome surgery being done on a infected human corpse, changing into a alien freak. And from the rest of the lyrics it seems like he escapes, hacks and slashes every living thing, after his messy results which look like an autopsy.
Jason Newsted takes a guest appearance on bass in this song making it extra grimy, and sick.
It goes by blindingly fast, and like all good music, wish it was LONGER.
The music entrances with a tempo swinging harsh, mushy beat from the drums, bass, and guitars.
And Eric Forrest's double tracked intro vocals bring in a new texture to his vocals, making them sound like he has congestion, the flu and sore throat for a nasty but brutal gargled voice.
The guitars go through a amazing tension by Piggy, and the multi-layered ambush gets crazier towards the end.
The drumming from Away has a unique SNAP, and shuffling rhythm and near the end he makes a pumped up, Rockabilly drum beat that's very doubling on the snare finishing the "Operation" of the alien carrion.

Shockheadd45: This album and Nothingface are Voivod's most lyrically profound, and metaphorically complex albums. Their instrumental ability is always technical on every album, and never fails to amaze me.
SuggahBear: Nothingface? Oh you had me messed up for a minute. I thought you was talking about the group. They have an album called Nothingface yeah?
Shockheadd45: That group is awesome, but I'm not talking about them, and yes Voivod has an album called Nothingface, and I think it's their most confusing album ever. Actually it's the most confusing I tried to decipher. It's a mixture of every theme from their 4 previous albums, and the result is 8 songs that has one "Mega theme" each, but with philosophical/poetically mastered lyrics. I do now this, their lyrics are from some doomed part of the future brought to life.

Shockheadd45: No they are something bigger than 2012. Supposedly humanity will evolve into a super species and become highly intelligent beings, massive wars will be everywhere, religion, politics, and science meet up to combine as one philosophy. (Triple trouble) as then the apocalypse arrives, thousands of years later. Yes, that made remember the famous moons. Or one of those damn balls of Grey Swiss cheese is named Phobos, hahhhaaa.

Shockheadd45: I'm just guessing from their lyrics about whatever Nothingface is about, so confusing. The song titles confuse me even more.
