Under the warm embrace of the Southern California beach lifestyle, Ned Blakey (Michael
Graziadei) aspires to ride the waves of professional surfing. Taught and inspired by his local
surf legend mother (Nia Peeples), Ned heeds the call of the ocean and begins to compete in
tournaments. In an instant, Ned Blakey becomes the center of the pro surf circuit, complete
with a go-getting sports agent (Rob Moran) and reps flaunting major endorsement deals (Cris
Judd).

Despite the loyalties of his first love, Amber (Lacey Beeman) and lifelong friends, Travis, Indo
and Scratch (Matt Cohen, Dante Basco and Paul McCarthy-Boyington), Ned wades into the
troubled waters of fame and fortune. Tempted by the power, excess and girls (Nicky Whelan) of
his newfound celebrity life, Ned must evolve or devolve.

Based on the laidback La Jolla upbringing of Writer/Director Ari Davis, this coming of age tale
captures the highs and lows of a true surfers journey riding the ever-changing waves of life.
Blending in documentary-style footage of some of the most respected surf legends in the world
