Mom walked downstairs with a confused look in her eyes, an obviously fake smile upon her lips. The guys followed her dowstairs, agitated with Frankie. I went into the kitchen where I left my video camera. I came back into the living room to film them. I grinned when I saw Nick and his girlfriend flirting with each other. She had the hat in her hands and was fiddling around with it. I crept closer. She saw me and I nodded at her. I turned the camera on and hit record, facing it at them. I was barely in ear-shot. "Nick, I think you'd look pretty cool with this hat, why don't you try it on?" she smiled at him. He shrugged and took the hat. I grinned as he lifted it to his head. His face was hilarious as he felt the pudding slop down onto his head. He shut his eyes, trying not to get upset. "Haley." I heard him growl. My eyes bulged. He knew. I looked around and saw Joe with Paula. I hurried over to them, still hiding though. I nodded at Paula, and she played the same game Nick's girlfriend did. Joe took the hat and put it on. He groaned in disgust. Paula snorted over and over. I giggled quietly. Sean walked over. "Nick's looking for you." he hissed. My laughter cut off. I saw Kevin taking the hat to put on. I quickly turned the camera on him. When he put the hat on, he just gave a confused look, shrugged, and continued talking to his girlfriend. Then, Nick stepped into the view of the camera. He folded his arms and glared at me. "If it helps, I think chocolate pudding suits your complexion." I gave a weak smile. "Give me the camera, Haley." he demanded. I took the tape out and gave him the camera. "The tape, too." he sighed. "You just said the camera. I'm keeping the tape." I grinned. He groaned. Joe looked at us and stomped over. "HALEY!! Are you insane?! This hair doesn't just HAPPEN!" he shouted. I giggled, unable to help myself. Him thrashing his head while shouting made the puding seep down onto his forehead. Nick put his arm around my shoulder. He whispered in my ear, "Give me the tape or else I'll prank you and put the video on youtube." "You wouldn't." I glared. He shrugged and smiled. "Fine." I grumbled. I shoved the tape into his stomach. "Now, I'm going to go rinse my hair out. See you later, baby sister." Nick said sweetly, then went back upstairs. "Sixteen year olds SUCK. Well, you're birthday's soon, which means you'll be getting smarter...Uh oh." Joe started walking away, mumbling to himself. As he walked by Kevin, he told Kevin what happened. I turned to Sean. "Well...At least that took care of ten minutes." I rolled my eyes. Sean laughed and shook his head at me. The party ended a while after, thankfully. I was exhausted after all that partying. We took a while cleaning up, then all plopped down onto the couch. I leaned my head on Sean's shoulder, and he put his arm around me. Joe raised his eyes at us. I forgot that Sean and I hadn't told anyone that we were together. Sean told then. None of them were suprised at all. I guess that's just the way it is. Predictable. Sean and I liked each other, so we got together. Thankfully. I stood up, my energy regained. I was hyper now. "Hey, I'm gonna go write a song, bye!" I waved at them and ran to the song room. I knew they'd follow me, so I locked the door. I grabbed a notepad and pencil, then plopped down onto a bean bag chair. I heard their feeble attempts at opening the door, unsuccessful. I laughed to myself and rolled my eyes.
