SiSSoS1337: So now i got mine! Scroll has no problems what so ever. The feeling of the mouse is great, also it glides very well. I dont have that much accelleration like you do, but there is some.

arminsaraji: have you tried setting the windows speed on 6/11 ? and in game speed on 1 thats needed to prevent interpolation. "We highly recommend setting Windows Pointer Speed to the 6th notch (which is the default value in Windows) and setting your in-game sensitivity to 1 (1 equals no adjustment of your movements by the game)." you are right about the mouse prediction tho, and i also noticed an inconsistency in the mouserate, which could possibly explain the unpredictable behaviour. good review:)

Ramla777: i did some sort of testing like that and got some really weird results.. but then i tried it with my deathadder and got some weird results too.. I will do a video on windows speed and ingame sens effects on mice at some point.

Ub3rBanana: At what hz is the mouserate inconsistent? I noticed that mouserate on the infrared version of the old diamondback as well as the wheel mouse optical would not stay exactly at 500hz but rather would drop every few seconds. However I never really noticed this in game.

Dkcode: Did you update the firmware on this mouse? I had a problem with the scroll wheel you described before the firmware was updated. After the issue was gone. Despite this i am unsure about this mouse. I don't mind the shape as i came from a Copperhead but it still feels too big for my hands. The LCD screen and scroll wheel assembly feel cheap and the wheel is loud with an inconsistent rattle to it. Same issue on 2 Xai's i have tested. For a 60 quid mouse this is unacceptable.

stalin133333337: Laser sensor is not the issue. New laser sensor as FAR superior to optical in very way. Max tracking speed, g force, and lack of angle snapping prediction. Steelseries must have messed up as the same sensor is found in the logitech G500 and the g9x. The sensor is made by avago. The razer mamba and coolermaster sentinel use a competing Philips laser. Before you blame the laser, try other mice first! the other three mice i personally own, and are far superior to a deathadder which i own too.

stalin133333337: There is no randomness or lack of reliability to be found in g500, g9x or coolermaster sentinel or mamba. All using newer laser sensors. I play CS:S competitively and probably view mice very similarly to the way you do. I stuck to optical for a long time. G5 and copperhead were horrible mice due to what you mentioned: no reliability, thus no muscle mem. These new mice I can assure you crush optical mice in all categories. It is a shame steelseries dropped the ball so hard.

gh0st1976: I´ve got the Xai since release and never had problems with it. First try to clean your pad. Every mice got problems if dirt comes in the sensor. I never had the problems that you have with this mice.
