This is an excellent documentary about World War 2, from Adolf Hitlers point of view: Why Hitler did what he did, how he rationalized his actions, what he secretly wanted and what not, what he thought of the major issues of the world. The documentary shows to viewers what Hitler knew, based on the documents he received, and how and why he therefore acted the way he did. The book provides a view of the war from behind Hitler's desk. The only major controversial issues in the book (and in historian David Irving), are the authors views on the official version of the Holocaust story. Historian David Irving disagrees with the official story, arguing that far less than 5-6 million Jews died, and that there were no execution gas chambers to kill millions of Jews, and that Hitler did not order killings of Jews and that there is no evidence that Hitler even knew of any killings (after Irving was destroyed financially and his career ruined forever, he changed some of his views publicly, claiming to believe that some gassings might have happened in the camps Belzec, Sobibor and Treblinka, but not in Auschwitz or Majdanek).
