well, basically warriors are crap when fighting other fully geared players, ive tried fury,arms and hybrid specs to find out which spec would be the most perfect to fight with. result: PROTECTION. you rely alot on concussion blow and Shockwave since they scale with AP. my warrior at the time of the video had 6082 AP (selfbuffed)

A: no, this is a PTR aka Public Test Realm which has been created by blizzard for player to test out the new features in an upcoming patch.

Q: UR DMG SAWK AI DU MUTCH MORE DAMAWGE!
A: i can do much more damage on naked people as well, im fighting vs people with at least 800+ resillience, healers got over 1000 resil. check out the mage at the end to see some dmg.

Q: whats the gear you are wearing?
A: well i managed to combine defense and attack gear from t9.5 the defense gear im wearing has shield block value which increases ur shield slam damage, i have attack gear to get more attack power and thus more damage from concussion blow or shockwave.\

Q: Do you play retail?
A: i do, i play on outland and quel thalas, both european.

strijkbout12: what im trying to say is that every class got at least 2 counter attacks versus a warrior which gives warriors a big disadvantage. when im arms specced i got more difficulties in beating a rogue than when im protection.

strijkbout12: dude read the description please. or the title. its a PTR thus a public test realm for the upcoming patch 3.3.0. this is an official server and no private server.

poliller: To incrase your DPS in prot. you must buff you with block value and get two pices of nax25 gear for the +20% shield slam incrased damage.

strijkbout12: the damage of shield slam is increased, i agree, but the damage of concussion blow and shockwave is decreased cuz those attacks scale with attack power instead of block value.

kuramatd: Maan, Prot is so silly. Near 5k crits in a tanking spec. Good thing almost everything scale with AP now. :D

ArangarXRukia: Keep in mind that most of the opponents are probably playing there class for the very first time and have no clue what they are doing, ptr is full of scrubs. And yeah warriors are terrible in solo pvp.

strijkbout12: agreed on that, normally warriors are useless versus affliction warlocks. the warlock im fighting clearly didnt know what to do.

strijkbout12: @Squidgy95 : there's no best pvp spec, the spec you like the most and feel the most comfortable in is the best spec. personally i prefer 12/3/56, cuz deep wounds can really help when fighting a vanish spamming rogue. and you dont need to worry about keeping rend up at all times. ps. the axe i was using is the S6 axe.
