MF: BlackZarak (First Time) Video

The first appearance of BlackZarak's robot mode. Typical of Masterforce, the surprise is spoiled before the big reveal, and in this case it's in a hypothecial/dream/imaginary sequence where the Autobots discuss what would happen if Overlord and BlackZarak met up and Ginrai couldn't take both down by himself.

BlackZarak is not only a remold of the G1 Scorponok toy, he's an evolution of the same character we saw in Headmasters. You'll notice the head has changed considerably, de-emphasizing the Headmaster aspect; it's now no longer necessary to insert the small head robot into the shoulders, as BlackZarak has his own full head and face. You still can, it's just not necessary. Within the Masterforce world, Scorponok is now within BlackZarak's chest, which is why you don't seem him eject as BlackZarak transforms. BlackZarak was also the inspiration for the Dark Scorponok redeco of Energon Scorponok.

Also note the brief appearance by Grand. We'll get into that more a bit later...
