Victoria dreams that Jeremiah warns her that Barnabas will destroy her. Victoria finds out that Peter was tried for the murder of Noah Gifford and hanged. As Victoria remembers things from her experience in 1795 Barnabas becomes more concerned that she will expose him. Barnabas bites Victoria.

declan32001: Lol. Well, this is really the tipping episode of Barnabas-the-good in terms of protecting the Collins family. This is the Barnabas I grew up with, but don't worry he remains vicious in different ways.

yesnik4805: I'm still going through culture shock and will have a time adjusting to the pragmatic, cold and calculating Barnabas of the 20th century compared to the 1795 Barnabas that showed so much more humanity and raw emotion. Thanks Sailor, for this wonderful series of videos!!

taco58bell: Sea-change in attitude. Barnabas starts the long road to redemption. The writers had to start to make him sympathetic in the 20th century.

hecate55: It's interesting that present day Barnabas in his paranoia jumps to the conclusion that Victoria knows about his past. IF he bothered to take the time to really find out, he would have realized she still doesn't realize that he is the same Barnabas from the past. Nor was she ever aware he became a vampire. She was in survivor mode in 1795 between escaping Trask and then being in jail and the her trumped up trial.

not2esoteric: It's funny how quickly Vicki forgot about Burke - and she was going to marry him! Barnabas does take the sympathetic and good guy turn about now, but there are some fun bad guys waiting in the wings to fill the void.

taco58bell: I like Barnabas'' little speech about "the past is constantly being re-lived." It is the plot's nod to the conflict between what Barnabas lived through and remembers and what just happened to Vickie. Today, the sci-fi conventional device of alternate timeline would be stated. Interesting, is it not that this is precisely what DS used later on? I could be wrong, but this is ground-breaking stuff in terms of what is now commonplace. I am more impressed as this goes on.

healingbuddy: Wait a second!!! HE didn't bit her YET!!!! The cliffhanger is He is going to bite her--will he or won't he. I can't remember if he does or not however the next episode will determine that. I don't want Vicky to be bit. And yes, Barnabas seems like he is making the change here from bad vampire to good vampire. Yea!!!!!

B.................The writers has made a mistake in the storyline (blooper???). Sun , an question to you: Did Vicky knew that the woman who looked like Elizabeth (in 1795) die in 1795-period?

doorsonatta: That's correct: till 1799 it's the 18 century. Now we are the 21 th. century. Shelton, may i ask you an question: Did Vicky knew that the woman who looked like Elizabeth (in 1795) die in in the 1795-period? She did say nothing about that, but she has shaid something to Barn about his death in the 1795 period!!!

akolonich: Well, the current Barnabas wouldn't exist had the original Barnabas not traveled to England in 1795. Barnie's story in the present day is that he is a direct descendant of his ancestor who traveled to England, so if he had died, vicky must be very confused.

doorsonatta: Why did you writed "he" Dr. Hoffman (Grayson Hall) was a woman???
