Brave Combo, Oh Holy Night, Cha, Cha, Cha Video

The always excellent Brave Combo played at the Cherry Street Brewing Company in Galesburg, Illinois on June 29, 1985. Many of us Quad-City based fans and friends of theirs who enjoyed them at The Madhatter, or RIBCO attended. You can see many of us dancing up a frenzy to one of our favorite bands.

Carl was nice enough to allow me to record it with a friend's tired, old VHS camera. Although the quality is not all that wonderful, you likely won't see this stuff anywhere else. After going through all the video I shot at the recent 2009 Peoria Octoberfest, I got this nearly 25 year old tape out of the cabinet to share some of the fun with other friends/fans of Brave Combo.

The line up at this time included Carl Finch, Jeffrey Barnes, Bubba Hernandez on bass, and Peoria native Mitch Marine on drums. As I view this stuff, I find myself thinking..... wow, we sure were young!
