She leaves me standing here, confused. Why was she crying then? I knew she was. But why? This girl that I have only known for a day, has got me wrapped around her little finger. Within a day! God! She just walks away and what the hell did she mean by He's not here? I mean you cant just say that and walk away like that! Its madness! I mean now I want to follow her and find out whats wrong with her and what she means.

After I stood there contemplating whether I should follow her or not, I probably won't find her but I thought about what she said and I need to know now! I walk down the halls and follow her around the corner. No sight of her until I heard a high pitched scream come from the girls toilets.

The scream grew increasingly loud; it felt like the whole school were shuddering and shaking. Metaphorically speaking. Not only did I hear a scream, I could hear them crying, hysterically. The students in the hallway stopped and stared, but none of them even bothered to go help. Not one single person.

The bell rang and the hall quickly disbursed. I was the only one left standing there. I kept asking myself if I should go in and check to see if they were alright, but then again, it would be wrong to intrigue on the girls bathroom. I sighed and put my hands deep into my jean pockets and walked back to class with my shoulder hunched and my head hung low.

Demi came running up to me from the other side of the hall "We are so late for chemistry" she said panting "we have to go" she grabbed my hand and we sprinted off to chemistry. I was not in the mood for anything, especially for chemistry, Mr Stevens would give us detention for being late, what a great way to end a day. I thought for a bit, I suddenly remembered something. "Isn't Selena in our chemistry class" I asked Demi

"I think so" she quickly responded. We entered chemistry class. Everyone was quiet. As soon as we entered everyone turned their eyes on us. Mr Stevens put his glasses on and stopped writing on the blackboard and brought his book down on the desk and walked over to us. "What do you call this" he asked by bringing his glasses to the rim of his nose.

"I'm sorry Sir, it wont happen again" Demi said with great confidence. He didnt have time for excuses he just rolled his eyes and told us to take our seats. I looked around the classroom and saw an empty seat near the window "Wasn't Selena suppose to be sitting there" I thought to myself. Demi shook me and I walked over to my seat.

Mr Stevens turned back to the board and continued writing down some equations. I opened my notebook and started to take down some notes and I suddenly stopped. I couldnt get that image of Selena out of my mind. Just the sight of her being hurt and upset made me feel pain inside. I couldnt think the entire lesson. The tears that shed from her tiny face, the pain and distress in her blood-shot eyes, her lip quivering and jittering, her whole angelic, majestic body trembling, her cracked voice as she spoke to me, she was deeply hurt inside. And she has kept It bottled up.

I kept doodling in my notepad, that whole lesson. As soon as the bell rung I sprung out of my seat and made my way to the girls bathroom. No matter how much I will get humiliated, I just needed to see, who was in the bathroom and if it was Selena, was she ok.

I walked over to the girls' bathroom and I pushed the door slowly, making a single crack. It was quiet. No one was in there. This was not normal. Normally girls would be raiding in here, checking their hair and makeup, but who am I to know what goes on in the bathroom. I walked in deeper the bathroom and found Selena lying on the floor. She was still, like a statue, not making any sudden movements, she blinked slowly and tears slowly started to fall. I stopped in my tracks in shock, blood dripping slowly from her wrist onto the marble floor, her eyes all blood-shoot from the pain and a pair of scissors next to her. My eyes-widen, "she cuts herself" I whispered.
