Meteos Wars - Mission Mode 5-1 - Firim Video

It might have seemed strange to have Geolyte, Anasaze, Oleana, and the newcomer starter planet Lumious in the mission mode videos you've seen so far but not see Firim in this. Well, fear not--it IS in here. Looking at the Japanese spelling of this game, the first "I" in Firim is a long one. That is, it's pronounced FIRE-rim.

This match goes by pretty fast, doesn't it? Compare this to that Meteos Wars video I have that features Firim and you'll see how slowed down online play can get when lag really gets in the way of things. I don't know why they programmed a game like this to have lag in the form of slowdown. Visual lag on your opponent's display should work just fine--the only interaction between each other are garbage block attacks and Planet Impacts anyway, and the game can always correct itself when it gets the proper signal. Nintendo learned of this right from the get-go with Tetris DS, and it was the system manufacturer last to arrive at the online scene.
