I photographed over 50 signs and saw not one that could be considered offensive by any but the most tremulous weenies. The best was not a sign at all but an empty suit on a broom handle. Additionally, people in the crowd were smiling, courteous and - get this - happy. Wake up and read the f er. I did - took me four days.

hempec: OK....I consider myself a free-thinking independent with possibly some shades of liberal tendency. I've voted for both parties in the past, based on who I believe best represents me. I didn't hear anything in this speech that actually said anything. I heard some things chosen to inspire a crowd that has already made up its mind. Why should I get behind this movement? Why should I care? Can anyone answer without conservative propoganda? I really want to know.
