My name is Meghan Noone and I am the branch manager of the Lee and Concord branches of Northeast Credit Union. Thanks for stopping by and visiting my video spot! I wanted to talk to you a little bit today about Northeast Credit Union and how our products and services can meet the needs of those within the community all while helping you save money!! A big plus in these tough economic times.

Northeast Credit Union has been serving the community for over 70 years and currently has branches in Portsmouth, Rochester, Dover, Exeter, Lee, Northwood, Concord, Manchester and the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. We are a not for profit organization which means we dont have stockholders that we have to impress. Who we are looking to impress are our customers or members hopefully you! You see, in order to become a member at Northeast Credit Union, people need to open a savings/share account. This makes you a member-owner of NECU. We do that by keeping our lending rates as low as we can and our deposit rates as high as we can, all while keeping our fees significantly lower then most other financial institutions.

When most people think of credit unions, they instantly think of loans. We do a lot of loans of many varieties auto loans, personal loans , credit cards, mortgages, home equity loans, energy smart loans just to name a few. Our loan rates are normally lower then other lending institutions and we also offer discounts onloan rates depending on other products or services you have with NECU, such as, a checking account, or a Visa credit card.

We also offer a variety of savings and checking account options for both personal and business many of these options have no monthly maintenance fees or minimum balance requirements.

Another misconception regarding credit unions is that a person needs to be an employee of a particular company in order to be a member. This is not the case at Northeast Credit Union. We are a community-based credit union which serves the communities that reside or work in Southern NH or in Southern York County, Maine.
