Hector Pina's 50 Birthday Surprise Celebration Video

Restaurant owner, activist and entrepreneur, Hector Piña is well-known by athletes and celebrities, and frequently sought out by politicians, community leaders and businessmen to get his advice on almost any topic related to help advance the Latino population. His friends, family and everyone who has been touched by the kindness and unselfish nature of Hector gathered to celebrate his 50th birthday in a surprise party at District Lounge.

Gaby Salas, from United Liquors, presented Hector with a special bottle of Johnie Walker Blue Label, and Hemengildo Martinez, President of the Dominican Festival, awarded him with the "Good Dominican American Citizen" award.

The event was coordinated by The Merge Point, and had the support of Johnie Walker Blue Label, LIPs, Luzportfolio and Boston Latino TV.
