GPU based splatting Video

This demo uses GPU based splatting to render a human head CT scan at approx 50 frames per second on my GeForce 7800 GTX (I haven't checked the performance on GeForce 8800 GTX though). Note that this is an un optimized implementation. Further optimization will make it even faster. What's interesting to note is the quality of rendering which is comparable to GPU based ray casting but the performance is around 10x faster than ray casting.
