This class. by Farrah Green and Michelle Manshardt at The HORSE FIRST FARM in Brooklyn, WI, is designed to help the student ride their horses safely and successfully. One strategy is to "get permission" to ride. The first thing you need to do is see if the horse will let you in all the zones, and particularly zone 3 where you will be sitting. Also, how sensitive is the horse to your touching different parts of their body with your hands, legs, feet, butt. Here Rose is checking that out on her horse, who has never been started.
