I slowly followed Miley back into the cafeteria and sat down. Both Nick and David gave us weird looks but Miley said it was nothing to worry about. The bell rang and Miley and Nick left. I looked at David and smiled
Selena:Ready?
David:Its school?
I laughed and started walking with David by my side. We got to our English and I went to my seat while David asked where to sit. I hoped she would put him far away from me not cause I dont like him but because I dont want to fall harder than I was. She put him on the other side of the room thank god but then she started teaching. We had a project and SHE was picking our partners. She started reading off the names then she said my name I waited for what seemed like hours and then she said it David.UGH why is that im trying to get as far away from him as possible but I keep getting brought back?? I sighed as he walked over to me.
David:So you want to work at my place or yours?
Selena:It doesn't matter to me you pick?
David:I vote yours mine is still a mess from the move.
Selena:Ok heres my address or you can meet out front and we can walk together.
David:I'll meet you im not good with directions
Selena*laughs*Ok
The bell rang I ran out and went to my locker and to my next class forgetting that David was in it. I walked in and he was already there sitting in the seat right next to mine. Oh joy. I walked over and sat down,he smiled at me and I reluctently returned the smile.How am I supposed to NOT fall for him when he smiles like that? The class seemed to drag on and on until finally the bell rang.I was grabbing my stuff when David spoke
David:So ill meet you outside in a few minutes?
Shit the project!
Selena:*smiles*Yup im just gonna go get my stuff
David:Ok*walks away*
I walked as slowly as possible to my locker and got my stuff then I walked outside and there he was waiting.I walked up to him and he smiled there it is that dam smile.
Selena:Lets go
David:Alright
We walked to my house and luckily my mom was not home. We went to my room and starting working on the project. I heard the door shut downstairs and knew my mom was home.
Selena:Im gonna go say hi to my mom
David:Ok
I walked downstairs and greeted my mother.
SM:how was school?
Selena:Same only I have a project
SM:Oh ok
Selena:You seem out of it whats up
SM:Nothing just work
Selena:*worried*Were not moving again are we?
SM:oh no I told you you would be here til graduation
Selena:Yea you did but your job didnt
SM:Were not moving
Selena:Ok im gonna get back to David
SM:Whos david
Selena:Oh hes my partner for the project
SM:Oh ok
I nodded and walked back upstairs to my room
Selena:Sorry bout that she likes to talk
David:Its fine,can I ask you something
Selena:Sure?
David:How many times have you moved
Selena:Were you listening
David:No you just got loud when you asked
Selena:Oh umm 3
David:Oh
Selena:Why
David:Im just gonna be honest I like you ALOT but I dont want to get hurt if you have to move
Selena:I like you to thats why I didnt say anything
David:You like me
Selena:*nods*
David:*grabs her face and kisses her*
Selena:*shocked but kisses back*
Right here in this moment I forgot everything it was just me and him and in the 15 or so seconds that our lips were connected I created a world where I would never have to leave and I could fall as hard as I wanted to and know that he would catch me.
David:*pulls away*
Selena:Wow
David:We cant do this
Selena:Do what
David:Us
Selena:*looks down knowing hes right*I know,friends?
David:Friends
That whole friends thing lasted maybe two days. We dated and knew full well that if I had to move it would be over but neither of us cared. Sophmore year ended and summer began. I was positive that I was moving this sometime this summer. But to my suprise I didnt and I started junior year still in New York and still dating David. Miley disapproved only because she didnt want to see me get hurt or David knowing that her and Nick would have to pick up his heart when I was gone. Junior year went by way to fast and I knew for a fact that THIS summer I would be gone considering it has been three years here and that's usually when we move. I got home after the last day of school to find my mom home and I knew I was leaving.
SM:Sel we need talk
Selena:Were moving right?
SM:Yes,im sorry
Selena:Whatever ill go pack
I went upstairs and called David telling him to come over. He got there and I was already in tears,he knew I didnt have to say a word.He hugged me and said it would be ok that we would make it. I knew as well as he did that was a lie I was moving and who knew where I would be in a couple years.
Selena:Im gonna miss you
David:I'll miss you to baby
Selena:Do you regret it
David:No I would regret it if I hadn't tried
Selena:Me too
David:When do you leave?
Selena: A week
David:Well I will be here everyday to help you pack
Selena:Thanks David
