As the video demonstrates, the Grip Pod System (G.P.S.) is a combination vertical foregrip/fast-deploy weapon stabilization device/bipod that provides the operator with greater combat capability and versatility for his carbine, rifle, or SBR (Short Barreled Rifle) by allowing him to go prone in an instant and continue fighting from a stable platform. The Grip Pod's spring-loaded bipod/weapon stabilization system deploys instantly with the push of a button by either your thumb or index finger, depending on how you have the Grip Pod oriented on your rail (activation button facing backward towards you, or forward away from you).

While the Grip Pod System GPS02 military model weighs only 7 ounces (7 oz), it was designed and developed specifically for military combat and hard use, so it's made from advanced, reinforced polymers with stainless steel inserts for the fast-deploy legs.

The Grip Pod System GPS01 model is the LMG/SAW (Light Machine Gun / Squad Automatic Weapon) version, and it's made from 7075-T6 Aluminum with a mil-spec hard coat finish. It weighs 11 ounces (11 oz).
