Mobile phone provider may sponsor stars Video

The poor form of the national soccer team Harambee Stars could be driving away sponsors. Mobile phone services provider Orange revealed that it was considering supporting the national football team financially, but only on condition that the team shines internationally. Orange CEO Mickael Ghossein made the revelations today as he presented a cheque worth 13 million shillings for the upcoming East and Central Africa Senior Challenge Cup.

nubian12201: Musonye you rock !!!!! Keep up the good work with CECAFA. I wonder why Kenya, being the largest economy in the region finds it difficult to sponsor sports. Countries like Sudan, Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania would have sourced the chumas very very fast indeed.
