How to stop wasting 84% of the CPU!!! with VST plugins and become a Protools HD Accel killer. Video

in today multi cpu world,
everything seems better, but...
it needs an efficient software to take advantage of all those CPUs.

All softwares have different Efficiency levels,
for audio:
Sonar 8 PE and Reaper VST engines are the most Intel & AMD efficient.
but not 100% efficient.
In this Example:
Cubase 5.1 + T-Racks 3 at 100% VST CPU load its only usign 16% of the PC!!!!
= wasting near 84% of the i7 920 CPU!
*measured with Task Manager in Win XP (Ctrl+Alt+Del)

with the help of FX Max Teleport + 2x Lan cards & CAT6 cable.
the eficiency limitation can be bypassed.
and become free to use near 100% CPU Load with the same PC! & same software!.

can also be done with Windows Loopback Network Adapter in SDDI mode at 100Mbps, and XP patch KB884020.

In this example:
the Teleport Server is activated in the same machine with 2x GigaLan cards included in the MSI X58 Eclipse motherboard.
the Firewall TCP 5555 ports open & fixed IP v4 address for both cards.

as you can see...
The Performance increases from 24x up to 112x plugins at 44.100KHz or 48KHz
at 96khz it does 56x plugins with perfect sound.

T-Racks 3 Vintage 670 plugin was selected becouse it does eat / need a lot of CPU without oversampling or linear phase..
this test could also be done with any other VST plugin,
but performance gains will be less dramatic.

ASIO driver buffer size plays a mayor role in plugin count,
in this test buffer size was set to 128 samples in the soundcard drivers.

Upto 5x times more DSP Efficiency with FX Max Teleport.
a Protools HD Accel killer.

Beware:
you will need a decent water cooling system to use the PC at near 100% CPU Load all the time.
motherboard should be energy efficient = produce less heat,
like MSI X58 Eclipse DrMos technology.

sometimes the FX Teleport automatic latency detection does not work, but you can set manual latency for each plugin, and works great.
this example was 128 at 44.1 and 768 at 96Khz for the FX Teleport.
