SIGGRAPH 2009 GameJam! Competition Behind-the-Scenes with Team Left 3 Dead Part 2 of 2 Video

These are a bunch of videos from SIGGRAPH 2009's GameJam! Competition, which took place in New Orleans from August 4th at 6pm until the 5th at 6pm. This is a video journey through those 24 hours, chronicling Team Left 3 Dead's journey in creating a 2D videogame in Flash.

Throughout the competition, there were mini competitions, including DDR (for perfect score), Pictionary (not included in video), belly dancing, and Double Dribble.

The team members included myself, Jonathan Holt, and Drew Walton, all of whom flew down from all over the country to compete in this first-ever competition at SIGGRAPH.

I apologize for going slightly insane in some of the things I say, as i was up from 7:30am on Tuesday, lasting until 12:30am on Thursday. These include mentioning the existence of a "Manhatton State Bridge" and calling both of my partners "Jonathan."

We ended up winning the Committee's Choice Award, which granted us passes to next year's conference in L.A.

There are too many people to thank for all of this, but I can easily name drop my 2 partners, the ladies of Team L3D, those FJORG nuts, SIGGRAPH higher heads, and all of those awesome sponsors that gave us technologic goodies to fiddle around with for 24 hours.
