MCE LIFT ELEVATOR MOTOR CONTROLLER ROOM Relearning Shaft Information. Video

An MCE Site where it had problems with reading and measuring its shaft information. I replaced the plastic guides for the tape head reader and then had to relearn teach all the shaft and measuring information. After doing this the lift worked and landed its requested floors perfectly.

jorologo: That lift was very co-operative with the camera. It did everything that it was meant to do when it had to. After shooting that video the lift ran perfectly after relearning floor to floor and lift shaft distances.

bearchoirfan: Today the programming would be made digitally rather than from magnetic tapes. Even some could be done remotely from the elevator company via phone lines.
