If Obama would have told the truth,then he would have been deserving of respect. mrcharlieblack: It's not having an opinion about whether or not what he says is true that turned people off. It is simply choosing the specific time and place Wilson chose to voice his opinions. The President of the country had the FLOOR. Whether it be a democrat or republic they should be RESPECTED the same. If Wilson had issues with Obama's stance(s) he should have taken an alternate route. That's what the mediums are for. Not for him to look like a jackass on national television (hence his apology).

MontyBullover: Chigga, No legislation exists for the new socialist health care or amnesty for illegal immigrants yet. But this week Obama said that his health care plan won't cover illegal immigrants, but argued that's all the more reason to legalize them and ensure they eventually do get coverage. Its in all the papers. Not a surprise as he has been saying this since day one and again why did the proposed addon requiring proof of citizenship get chucked out if this wasn't the plan all along. xpandergt: It's a counter balance coyote. A government has to take from the private sector and individuals in order to grow ever bigger. Idiots were crowing about the faux GDP number yesterday. That number was due to the massive amount of borrowed money subsidizing the economy. Government never relinquishes power it only tries to gain even more.
