The Intruders I Wanna Know Your Name Video

A smooth epic ballad by the Intruders from the pens of Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff that features a spoken rap interlude by Sam "Little Sonny" Brown. It garnered a number nine R&B, number 60 pop chart placing in 1973; its waltz tempo was ideal for slow draggin'. It has been redone many times, including a great rendition by the Force M.D.'s and the Whispers, whose urban smooth version lacks the guts of the original.
