Build your tower of power with JL Audio's expandable stacking kit for multiple HD Series amplifiers. The kit contains mounting screws that conceal behind your amp's corner caps, and you can stack amps with or without the mounting feet that are included with your HD amp. You'll find enough spacers to stack two HD Series amplifiers and you can purchase a second kit to stack additional amps.

The JL Audio HD Stack Kit provides stacking hardware for two JL Audio HD/MHD amplifiers so they can be placed on top of one another. The HD Stack Kit comes supplied with four 4mm machine screws and four 5/8" spacers. A 3/6" and 1/8" hex-wrench (both included with JL Audio's HD amplifiers) are required for installation.

Instructions for Stacking Two HD Amplifiers

The following steps require the use of 1 3/16" and a 1/8" Hex-wrench (both included with your HD amplifier).

STEP 1: Using a 3/16" Hex-wrench, remove the corner caps from the top of each amplifier being stacked (four per amplifier)

Note: If you are not using the optional lateral mounting feet included with your HD Amplifier, you must first mount AND wire the bottom amplifier.

STEP 2: Using a 3/16" Hex-wrench, thread one (1) of the included Spacer/Receivers into each of the four (4) mounting holes on the bottom amplifier.

STEP 3: Set the top amplifier on top of the bottom amplifier, aligning each of the corners, and using a 1/8" Hex-Wrench, thread a Coupling Screw through the top amplifier and into the Spacer/Receiver in each of the four (4) corners of the bottom amplifier. Tighten evenly using criss-cross pattern.

Step 4: Using a 3/16" Hex-wrench, thread the Corner Caps back into each of the four (4) mounting holes on the top amplifier.
