smoothhoopinal: Lemme ask you this about Lebron's supporting cast. Did Lebron have a Fisher to hit those very clutch 3's? Did Lebron have a Gasol that taught Dwight Howard some post moves? Did Lebron have a Trevor Ariza to get some very, very key steals in the Denver series? How about an Odom to wake up and take out Denver. Had those guys not stepped up for you guys, Your beloved Kobe would not have been where he is now. Name me three players for Cleveland who stepped up in the playoffs last year.

smoothhoopinal: All the sudden Lakers fans don't understand the concept of supporting cast. Lemme shut you guys up. If Kobe is all that, why in the hell didn't he get rings in between Shaq and Kobe? Why didn't he lead Kwame Brown and Smush Parker to a title?
mjaliwa2: both of your comments are very valid points. dont get me wrong. but in the regular season they made the cavs this gaudy team that just couldnt be touched. people werent complaining about lebron and his supporting when they were smashing teams left and right. the cavs lobbied thier asses off to get mo williams in the all-star, and ppl were calling him the best addition over the offseason for the cavs last year.
mjaliwa2: but the point i am trying to make is that no one had openly complained (no one that i knew of or heard/read) about the cavs supporting cast until they got beat by orlando. had the cavs won the ring last year all the moves they made this year would not have happened.
smoothhoopinal: What I told my friends about Cleveland was that I didn't think they would win a title because they were 2-6 vs the Lakers, Magic, and Boston combined, even though they were 66-16. They were not the best team last year. They were about the 4th best.

vivilakers: let me tell you something smoothhoopinal.. Fact is you guys have all the supporting cast to make lebron get a championship. The only thing sucky about your team is freaking COACH MIKE BROWN.. If you look at your guys offense its only about Lebron creating plays, COACH MIKE BROWN doesn't trust PG's like Mo or Booby to create plays and make Lebron a finisher. Believe me is a veteran point guard like Sam Cassel is there he'll teach the coach and lebron to give him the fucking ball.
smoothhoopinal: Well, I actually agree with you about Coach Brown believing that every play must start and end with Lebron as being stupid. I didn't and still don't think Lebron had the correct supporting cast to win a title last year because there were 3 teams that were slightly better than they were(Lakers, Celtics, and Magic). The Cavs went as far as they were going to go. Lebron needed that Gasol/Odom, or Rashard Lewis/Hedo T, to supplement what he brings to the table. His 30/10/10 is not enough
