CaptainBlood300: We finished up the Dawn during the summer and Dawn: Revolution is the sequel to it. As for River...I'm sorry, I don't know you that is. Sorry... ^^;

CaptainBlood300: Rora cleared me up who River is and that's not River Phoenix--it's Joaquin Phoenix. He plays Brother Stanislav.

spazticarwen: I meant River Tam from Firefly. I thought that that was who the girl in the first picture was. But I don't think it is now.

CaptainBlood300: Oh, you mean Leocadia? The actress that models her is Summer Glau.

spazticarwen: Then it is River in that picture.

CaptainBlood300: No, that's Summer Glau you're seeing.

spazticarwen: But the character she is playing is river. I think that's a pic from Serenity. My Child, you really must watch Firefly.

CaptainBlood300: Ah, you were confusing me--I thought River Tam was a real actress, not a character Summer Glau played in "Serenity". Sorry about that... ^^

CaptainBlood300: I didn't know Serenity was part of a series...but anyway, it sounds pretty sweet. I always had an interest to watch Serenity but never got around to it. Looks like I better be checking out Firefly instead... ^^

spazticarwen: yeah, the movie takes place after the series. the series is only season long because fox is a bastard and canceled it.

CaptainBlood300: Ouch, that sucks. I've noticed that happens a lot, like with Angel and Buffy and now I'm hearing Dollhouse might be cancelled as well. Pity that some of the very intriguing shows end so abruptly...
