Zawicki1: Yes! He was named after Wootton Basset. He even mentions it in an episode. A kid named Grady says "Wooton? What kind of name is that?" Then Wooton replies, "Oh, it is old English for village by the woods." Which kind of tells you that, and also, in the official guide, it let's you know.
